Convocation – 2023
Convocation Ceremony for the outgoing batch 2023 was held in our campus on 12th October 2023. 128 students along with their parents participated in the ceremony. National Trade Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, were issued to the outgoing students. Swami Tadbhasanananda, Correspondent, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College, spoke on the importance of “Truthfulness”. Swami Divyanamananda, Correspondent, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Industrial Training Institute, emphasised the need of our Vidyalaya ITI students to follow their daily life based on the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. Sri S Kannan, Assistant Engineer, Tamilnadu Generation and Distribution Corporation, Periyanaicken Palayam, Guest of Honour for the Convocation spoke about “Perseverance”. All the above dignitaries along with Dr S Chandrasekaran, Principal, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Polytechnic College, issued Certificates to the outgoing students.
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Private Industrial Training Institute, was founded in the year 1951 with the intention of eradicating un-employment among youth, and providing skilled man power to Industries in and around Coimbatore. In a humble way, we started with two trades namely Fitter and Turner with the affiliation and financial support from the Government of Tamilnadu. In the year 1982, a two year course on Draughtsman Mechanical, and Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) was started with the affiliation from National Council for Vocational Training ( NCVT), Government of India. In the same year two year Fitter course got affiliated with NCVT. In the year 1992, a two year course in wireman was started with affiliation from NCVT. In the same year Two year Turner course got affiliated with NCVT. Presently our students’ strength is 200.
