CNC Training Centre
The CNC Training Centre, with facilities Production-type CNC Lathe, Production-type CNC Vertical Machining Centre, CNC lathe trainer, CNC milling trainer, and computerized simulation packages, has been functioning in the campus since February 2008. we have added CMM, and EDM Wire cutting machines also in the centre on March 2020.
CNC Turning and CNC Milling Machine:
CNC machines used in the modern production shops of industries had been installed in our ITI CNC Training centre. This helps our trainees to secure placements in reputed establishments.
Three Dimensional Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
“CMM Training” is being offered to our students as add on course with 30 hours duration. Setting and Operating of the measuring systems, Types of probes and its handling, Coverage of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance Systems, integrating CAD tools in CMM, and Usage of different software in CMM are taught to students in this training programme.
CNC Electrical Discharge Wire Cutting Machine (EDM)
“EDM Wire Cutting” is being offered to our students as add on course with 30 hours duration. Setting up the machine to set up a job, machining and cutting parameters, wire tension and stability, feed rates and offsetting, axis rotation, program mirror functions, how to use dry run, graphics manipulation, and taper cutting are taught to students.
Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya Private Industrial Training Institute, was founded in the year 1951 with the intention of eradicating un-employment among youth, and providing skilled man power to Industries in and around Coimbatore. In a humble way, we started with two trades namely Fitter and Turner with the affiliation and financial support from the Government of Tamilnadu. In the year 1982, a two year course on Draughtsman Mechanical, and Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) was started with the affiliation from National Council for Vocational Training ( NCVT), Government of India. In the same year two year Fitter course got affiliated with NCVT. In the year 1992, a two year course in wireman was started with affiliation from NCVT. In the same year Two year Turner course got affiliated with NCVT. Presently our students’ strength is 200.
